Oaklands Lodge affords secluded, safe accommodation in a quiet cul-de-sac, adjacent to the Treasure Beach Nature Reserve on the Bluff, a suburb, approximately 15 kilometres south of Durban. We are situated approximately two kilometres away from the “maddening crowds” who frequent the Bluff’s local beaches, Ansteys and Brighton. A rugged, meandering pathway leads onto the unspoilt Treasure Beach below the property. This lovely beach, which has delightful rock pools at low tide, is known locally for its good fishing, diving and surfing.
If the beach is not your scene, you can relax next to the large swimming pool on the property or watch the monkeys play in the recreation area near your suite. Four, neat, clean, well-equipped suites cater very adequately for couples, families and groups of up to 20 either on a self-catering or bed and breakfast basis.
Each kitchen has cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and cooking utensils to enable you to prepare delicious meals for the family or a romantic candlelit dinner for two. Bedroom, bathroom and kitchen linen is provided. We request however, that you bring your own swimming towels. Each suite has private access and its own parking bay.
Suites are serviced daily except on Sundays and Public holidays
To welcome you, each suite has a Hospitality Tray. A hairdryer, cot or camp cot and baby bath are available on request. Valuables, firearms etc may be stored in the safe. Airport pick-ups and taxis can be arranged, if required.
